OUR MISSION
Is to help Mayfield and Graves County residents by providing a bridge across hard times.
ABOUT US
The Annie Gardner Foundation is a privately funded non-profit that was created by long-time Mayfield businessman Ed Gardner in 1941 to honor his wife, Annie Gardner, and her life-long mission to help the poor and needy in Mayfield and Graves County.
After their deaths, the foundation continued to operate through a trust fund established by Mr. Gardner with specific guidelines for assistance distribution.

Annie’s Clothing and More Shop
The Annie Gardner Foundation has a large clothing and home need center that is available to all Graves County residents for once-a-month shopping.
New visitors will be asked to show proof of residency in Graves County in order to shop. All items are free, with limits on the number of items in certain areas of high demand.
The clothing is received through donations from area residents and is carefully examined for cleanliness, odors, wear, etc., in order to provide the best selections for clients.
In addition to clothing items, there’s always a variety of infant items, linens, dishes, and decor, as well as medical and personal care needs like walkers, crutches, and shower chairs, as available. From time to time, furniture items are available.
DONATIONS
The Annie Gardner Foundation receives donations of clothing and other home items from residents during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am to 3pm.
The foundation closes during the lunch hour at noon and re-opens at 1pm. Donations can be left on the loading dock at the back of the building. Donation receipts are available upon request.
